Module 3 – Reading Wine Labels
Reading wine labels is crucial to being a good wine buyer. Some labels are very straightforward, and those have all sorts of complicated language and wording. We break this down, so you understand what it all means.
Module 4 – Critical Thinking / Tasting Mastery
This week teaches you to expertly navigate wine through every detail that presents itself In a glass of wine from visual, aromatic, and structural cues.
Module 5 – Laser Sight Wine Focus
Some wine tasters don’t give color the time of day. Color is a crucial element in understanding some primary flavor and textural expectations. As they say, you eat with your eyes!
Module 6 – Identifying Flavors/Aromas
This module is a deep dive into the hundreds of different wine aromas and flavors in each glass. This module will expand your vocabulary and start the tasting machine in motion from primary fruits to secondary aromas.
Module 7 – Tactics in Texture
Texture and structure are some of my favorite parts of tasting wine. This module breaks down the various textures in wine, why they occur, and how to feel them and describe them with ease.
Module 8 – Tasting White Wines
An introductory look at how to approach tasting white wines. This module puts into everything we have learned in the first seven modules in the context of white wines. There are individual white grape modules that deep dive into each selected grape.
Module 9 – Tasting Red Wines
An introductory look at how to approach tasting white wines. This module puts into everything we have learned in the first seven modules in the context of red wines. There are individual red grape modules that deep dive into each selected grape.

Each white grape below has a module about what they are, how they taste, where they grow, great food pairings, and narrated tastings of how to taste them in a testing format.
The Whites: Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Pinot Grigio/Gris, Chenin Blanc, Albariño, Grüner Veltliner, Gewürztraminer, and Viognier
Individual Red Grape Modules (12 grapes)
